Welcome to the CCS(NA) Genealogy Data Base Site.

Objective:   The objective for the researcher is to determine whether or not the Clan Campbell Society of North America has information in its data bank about his/her ancestor. Once the researcher determines that the Society does indeed have data on his subject, he/she may request copies of the information on hand by writing to the Society's Genealogist, Ruby G. Campbell, Ph.D., FSA Scot, CCS(NA) Genealogist & Librarian, 3310 Fairway Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.

Scope:   In some instances quite a bit of information is available, whereas in others, the data may be quite sketchy. Not all of our data is documented inasmuch as it comes from members of the Society. Whenever possible, the names and addresses of other members from the same line will be provided in an attempt to get 'kith & kin' together.

Cost:   The Society does not charge a fixed fee for this service, but it does accept donations to help support the genealogical program and defray its expenses.

Submitting Data:   We urge all Society members and other Campbells to submit their genealogical data to the Society which serves as a clearing house of Campbell information. The more data we collect, the better able we are to serve everyone.

Septs:   Data for the various septs of the Clan Campbell have not been included in this data base at this time. For information on these septs, please contact the Genealogist directly at the address given above.

Updates:   New material arrives daily and this site will be updated periodically, so check often.

Fields: Any field may be searched.  PLEASE DO NOT USE WILDCARD CHARACTERS (* or %). WILDCARD CHARACTERS ARE ASSUMED.

First Name: Given name of subject of search. (Male or female)
Last Name: Surname of subject in Field 1. (This is generally CAMPBELL.)
Birth Year: Date of birth, or estimated date of birth based on known event in subject's life.
State/Province: Location Code (i.e. CA, NS) -- one known geographical site linked with subject; could be place of birth, death, marriage, residence, etc. (THIS FIELD HAS BEEN DISABLED, you can still sort by it)
Spouse First Name: Spouse's given name (Male or female; generally the spouse of the CAMPBELL)
Spouse Last Name: Spouse's Surname
